Hi, I’m Kimberley Rennoldson – welcome to Ragnar Therapies.

Inspired by the Old Norse meaning of ‘Ragnar’, associated with wisdom and healing, I bring over 25 years of clinical physiotherapy experience with advanced acupuncture and holistic movement. This includes extensive NHS work and private and charity sector roles both nationally and internationally, delivering a calm, evidence-based approach to restoring health, balance and wellbeing.

Whether you’re recovering from an acute injury, managing a condition or chronic long-term pain, or seeking natural rejuvenation through aesthetic acupuncture, every treatment is tailored to your body and goals.

Grounded in clinical expertise and guided by mindful practice, I help you move, heal and feel more at ease in yourself.

My philosophy.

A woman sitting on rocks with arms outstretched, facing the ocean during sunset.

Guided by more than two decades of physiotherapy experience, I believe true recovery comes from understanding the whole person – body, mind and environment. My practice blends evidence-based physiotherapy with acupuncture, mindful movement and restorative care, helping clients reconnect with their strength and balance. Every session is collaborative, considered and tailored to the individual.

From my clinic at Croft House in Swalwell, I work with clients from across the North East who are seeking a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to their wellbeing. I regularly welcome people from nearby communities such as Whickham, Dunston, Sunniside, Blaydon, Rowlands Gill and Low Fell, as well as from wider areas of Gateshead and Newcastle, including Jesmond and Gosforth.
